Bryn Bowden International is a boutique recruitment firm concentrating on international and senior London legal recruitment.
All recruitment businesses claim to be markedly different from the norm, yet in fact they’re all pretty much the same. Surf any of the websites of the leading firms in the market and you’ll see endless permutations of the words “quality”, “honesty”, “professionalism”, “experience” and “knowledge”, invariably preceded by the word “unique”. All well and good – although ask yourself quite how inspiring any business would be if it lacked these traits.
Essentially the level of service you get from a recruiter, either as a potential employer or as an individual looking to move, depends on the human being you deal with. At any agency there are good operators and there are not so good ones and to some extent it’s down to the luck of the draw and the internal politics of the agency which type you end up with.
For nearly ten years now Bryn Bowden has been operating as a legal recruiter in the London and international marketplaces. In June 2006 he decided to set up my own business, confident that he can offer individuals and firms a standard of service they will appreciate. He’s not promising a wholly new approach or state of the art whizz-bang interactive products. He’s got connections in his key markets; the skill and intelligence to know how things work; a straightforward and non-aggressive approach; and (hopefully) a sense of humour to relieve some of the tension in what can be a stressful process.
