Precedent Consulting is a specialist business providing careers advice to lawyers and recruitment services to law firms and other businesses.
Unlike many of our competitors, rather than being a sales based organisation we are a true consultancy offering impartial advice tailored to the needs of the individual or employer.
Our aim is to build long-term relationships with the best lawyers, law firms and companies acting as an honest broker using our extensive knowledge of the legal market to achieve the best results for those we advise.
We work with lawyers at all levels including newly qualifieds, assistants, associates and partners and employers including law firms, commerce and industry and the public sector. We have particular experience of partner lateral hires and helping experienced lawyers achieve their first partnership role.
As a subsidiary of award winning global search & selection firm Ellis Fairbank we also offer a range of value added services including benchmarking, referencing, stress management, culture audits, business perception studies and psychometric profiling together with M&A and corporate finance advice.
