Who are CareerBalance?
Simon Broomer LLB is a solicitor and a qualified career specialist. He has over twenty years’ experience working with clients at all levels in the legal profession. Simon holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Management & Counselling from the University of London.
Karen Gill BA (Hons) Law is a career coach and counsellor with specialist knowledge of the legal sector. Originally qualified as a solicitor Karen co-founded Graham Gill, a leading legal recruitment company, where she was a Director for 18 years. Karen has made her own career changes from lawyer to entrepreneur to career coach and counsellor. She has also taken career breaks to redirect her skills and resources and works as a Samaritan in her spare time.
So how does it work?
CareerBalance offers all our clients an in-depth diagnostic career consultation. During this consultation we'll give you guidance on how best to take your career forward and the options now open to you - inside and outside the legal profession. We'll show you how to secure a new career opportunity more effectively. We prepare carefully for your meeting by asking you to send us your CV and a summary of your situation. You will meet Simon Broomer or Karen Gill - both qualified lawyers. After the meeting we send you a note with our suggestions and a proposal to consider for a career programme if we think we can assist you further.
So How Much does it Cost?
The diagnostic career consultation costs £145 including VAT. If you later decide to complete a programme with us you will receive a discount of £50 on the cost. You can also arrange to have your consultation by telephone.
