Latham & Watkins has announced the appointment of six new London partners as part of a global move to add to its legal group.
Lawyers specialising in corporate, litigation and finance all join the firm's office in the capital, with the company also making additions to its bases across the world, including those in Chicago, Hamburg, Los Angeles, New York and Singapore.
Joining the company in the capital will be Gail Crawford, Stephen Fietta, Reena Gogna, Antti Ihamuotila, Andy Kolacki and Jeffrey Lawlis.
Commenting on the appointments, chairman and managing partner of Latham & Watkins Robert Dell said: "This group of attorneys has diverse legal experience across a wide breadth of practice areas."
He stated that the company was "pleased to welcome them", adding that they will make "significant contributions" to the success of the firm.
In related news, Clifford Chance announced recently that it is to end its joint partnership with Singapore-based legal firm Wong Partnership as the businesses wish to "pursue separate strategic initiatives".
