A former employee of Kirkland & Ellis is to rejoin the company after spending three years at Goldman Sachs.
Bankruptcy and restructuring specialist James Sprayregen has worked for Goldman Sachs for three years but is set to return to the job he held 16 years previously after realising he missed working in the legal sector.
"I missed the practice of law," he told the New York Times.
"What I've learned from Goldman, the financial expertise I've gained, will hold me in good stead and will be extremely helpful on the lawyer side of restructuring," he said.
Mr Sprayregen is to return to his position as co-head of bankruptcy and restructuring working alongside Richard Cieri.
