Residential Property FCILEX / Plot Sales - Kent
This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the Leading law firms in the South East England with a number of Chambers rated solicitors, employing over 300 people of which 45 are Partners. They have an exciting vacancy for a Residential Property Legal Executive or Licensed conveyancer with Plot Sales experience.
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a FCILEX or Licensed conveyancer to join a leading firm.
The Real Estate Department includes a small team of specialists who deal almost exclusively with institutional conveyancing transactions for house builders. Clients range from "household names" to smaller developers and our institutional team has a reputation for highly effective, innovative, responsive and friendly service.
It is intended that the post holder will, depending on experience, deal directly with house-builder clients and be accustomed to running their own files, generating their own correspondence and using IT extensively. The work is mainly IT based.
Main Duties
The main areas of work will comprise:
• Freehold and leasehold plot sales for a variety of house builder
• Dealing with telephone queries from clients and other professionals, keeping them informed of progress and progressing transactions
• Manipulating the data to produce forms, correspondence and other documentation
• Maintaining effective filing and diary systems
• Carrying out whatever other duties the team manager requires
You will have worked with other computerised conveyancing software applications and therefore have a high level of IT knowledge and a track record of understanding residential property transactions and procedures.
