Cost Draftsman
Kingsley Associates are working with a forward thinking cost firm who are based a short train journey from Southport train station. The firm is looking to recruit an experienced Law Cost Draftsman/Cost Lawyer to join their friendly and focused team.
Skilled in providing a high standard of service in all aspects of Costs, the firm is looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience working within a similar role drafting a range of civil bills at varying levels with a.
As the successful candidate you should be able to demonstrate working knowledge/ experience of:
•Preparation of Bills of Costs
•Preparation of Points of Dispute and Points of Reply
•Prepare Advise and Opinions
•Attend Solicitors offices to provide In-House services
•Utilise software in form of Cost Master and the Case Management System to its full potential. (This is not essential)
•Operate desktop computer to draft legal documentation and edit correspondence and memoranda from dictation and or verbal direction
•Maintain and promote the Company's good name, products, services and reputation
•Establish, maintain and update reference documents in the form of cost guidelines and regulations
•Deal with client queries as and when they arise
