A leading and ambitious city firm with a reputation for the quality of its work and enviable client base is looking for an associate to join their employment practice.
Employment has always been an important practice area for the firm and remains a key strategic expansion area. You would enjoy good quality work from a variety of clients, but you will also benefit from responsibility, plenty of client contact and good development and training opportunities synonymous with this firm.
The team helps finance directors, HR teams and in-house employment lawyers of major UK and international companies to avoid employment conflicts and save money so that they can focus on managing their workforce more effectively. The team is focused on providing day to day business critical advice to household name clients as well as tribunal support.
Candidate Requirements:
• 2 years employment law experience in a large commercial legal firm
• Experience of dealing with day to day enquiries, corporate support including restructuring and transfer of undertakings
• Tribunal experience and ideally some High Court and FCA or other regulatory experience
• Experience in dealing with board level issues and disputes would be an advantage
