PLANNING LAWYER - LONDON

THE ROLE

A role has arisen for a mid to senior level candidate with a planning/environmental law background.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be UK qualified and should ideally have experience of:

Environmental impact assessment (in particular the checking of Environmental Statements for compliance with legislative requirements)

Compulsory acquisition of land (including practical experience of exercising compulsory purchase powers and advising in relation to compensation payable)

Promoting applications for planning-related consents (planning permissions, development consent orders or similar), including preparation of related material


Negotiating and drafting agreements (with bespoke provisions) to meet the concerns of objectors

Experience of major infrastructure projects
