A vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced solicitor/barrister to join the busy children's legal team based in North Yorkshire.

Person Specification
Applicants should have an extensive experience in child protection, care proceedings and other public law applications. In addition to the above the successful applicant should have a sound knowledge of up to date developments and changes in legislation within the family court.

Candidates should have experience undertaking advocacy and attending Court, and will have previously handled their own caseload with minimum supervision in a team environment.

It would also be desirable for candidates to have experience in advising on adult social care matters including advocacy associated with Court of Protection cases however this is not essential.
