Busy London law firm is recruiting a General Office Assistant to join them on a temporary basis ASAP to provide efficient post distribution, archiving, reprographics, meeting rooms and general office support within their busy City office.  Key tasks will include opening and distribution of mail, distribution of Newspapers, magazines and periodicals, photocopying, scanning, binding, faxing, distribution of incoming faxes, preparing and presentation of documents – binding etc, co-ordination, storage & administration of archiving and retrieval, collection and distribution of office mail and photocopy requests within rota timetable, stationery – maintaining stock levels, distribution and ordering, booking and logging couriers, outdoor clerking duties such as; Stamp Duty Office, taking documents to courts, etc, setting up of meeting rooms and any other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time.  Candidates need to have previous general office experience (mail, archiving and reprographics) and have good communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner, a flexible, pro-active and co-operative approach to work, particularly in relation to availability and cover, experience of working in a busy professional services firm, ideally a law firm, excellent prioritisation skills, high attention to detail and good IT skills.
