Globally-recognised brand based in Central London, are looking to secure the services of a high-calibre candidate with previous management experience, to head up the organisation's membership services team.
The role involves managing a team of four junior staff, ensuring that the membership service function operates in an efficient and effective manner.
In addition to the personnel management duties, the postholder will have the opportunity to provide support to inter-departmental projects, as well as forming a framework of business rules for future membership applications, and overseeing training for other units within the organisation. They will also provide key input when it comes to liaising with regulators and the authorities.
This is initially a three month contract but there is the possibility of the role being made permanent in the new year.
The client is looking for candidates with a background in commercial and competition law, ideally gained from working at a regulator, ombudsman, or within the financial services sphere.
It is essential that you have some previous experience of managing staff, although this does not necessarily have to be extensive. Excellent relationship-building skills, with both internal and external parties, are also very important.
There is a certain flexibility surrounding the previous experience of candidates that the hiring manager is willing to consider. Paralegals, qualified lawyers, contracts managers, team operations managers, compliance staff and documentation managers are just some examples of job titles that will be well suited to the position, and individuals with other profiles are also encouraged to apply.
