Head of Family Department

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Chambers ranked, Legal 500 regional heavy weight as a Head of Department within their Family team in Kent.

Due to a pending retirement, this role will require someone to take strategic responsibility for the department, to lead, develop, inspire and motivate team members to achieve agreed targets and to contribute to the development and achievement of a structured Business Plan.

The ideal candidate will have management experience, excellent commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and develop staff in order to achieve business objectives and deliver a high quality customer service.

The team in the Family department that you will be leading consists of 6 Solicitors and 4 support staff so previous management / supervisory experience is essential.
