An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Contracts & Procurement Locum to join a local authority in the West Midlands. This is a locum position for at least 3 months but is likely to continue. This position is for 3 days per week.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Lawyer and Commercial Contracts and Procurement specialist with a background dealing with Local Authority contracts.
You will be dealing with matters arising within the Commercial Contracts team, giving general advice, negotiation and drafting. Examples of contracts may include Social Care and NEC Contracts. If you have experience dealing with Commercial Property, this would be advantageous but not essential.
The position offers an attractive hourly rate of up to £30 - £40 per hour dependant on experience.
