Locum Childcare Lawyer

A Local Authority in the West Midlands currently requires a Childcare Locum Solicitor to join their team. The contract is due to run for 9-12 as it is covering maternity leave.
We are looking for Qualified Solicitors or Barristers with previous experience working within Childcare Law. Experience of working within a Local Authority is preferred, although applications from Solicitors and Barristers with a working background in a law firm dealing with Public Law Childcare Proceedings will also be considered.

Duties on a day to day basis will include:
• Managing a full caseload of care cases
• Dealing with all pre proceedings
• Performing own advocacy at County Court and Family Proceedings Court

An hourly rate of £35 - £40 per hour is offered dependent on experience.
