My directories recognised client is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Litigation department to assist the Partner within the team.
This role is to cover a 12 month period; with a view to going permanent thereafter.
A Legal Assistant within the Litigation team your key areas include:
- Contractual disputes
- Injunctions
- Professional negligence
- Breach of warranty claims
- Insolvency
- Employment (contentious)
The successful applicant will be able to show the following:
- Solicitor or paralegal with at least 2 years experience (post qualification if a solicitor) - this is purely set as a guide.
- Sound academics
- Evidence of a good training and experience gained in a well supervised environment. Further training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills, strong communication skills and a team player.
As this is a FTC for 12 months a candidates who are immediately available would be preferred. This role is a FTC - however it is likely that the role will become permanent.
