THE ROLE

This is a great opportunity for a mid associate with circa 2-4PQE to join the IP practice of a prestigious international law firm. The IP team is ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers legal guides.

The team acts for a number of high profile international clients and members of the team have been involved in a number of reported decisions both before the UK and European Courts.

ABOUT YOU

The team is looking for an enthusiastic IP lawyer with a focus on technology transactions.

The role will involve both non-contentious and contentious IP but they are looking for someone with a significant amount of non-contentious IP experience.

The role will involve drafting and negotiating standalone IP deals, such as patent and other IP licensing deals, collaboration agreements and joint ventures.

Experience of litigating these types of agreements would also be helpful.

The role will also involve providing IP advice on IP-heavy corporate and finance deals (such as M&As and IPOs).

Experience of working for clients in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector would be very helpful.
