Our client is a global investment bank, provider of a wide range of products to their clients throughout the Asia Pacific region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Mid -Level Banking or Capital Markets lawyer to work within Derivatives, Structured Products and Medium Term Notes. Strong preference for lawyers from international firms or In-House Lawyers.
This is a position based in their Hong Kong office.
Main Duties to include:
- Working across a wide range of financial products using standard contract templates
- Liaising with front office, compliance, back office and credit on all documentation and procedures
- Successful negotiation of contracts with counterparties
Skills Required:
- Lawyer from a Banking or Capital Markets background, transferable skills to adapt to the role
- Trained within an international law firm
- Should have experience in MTN
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent competence in working with market standard documentation
- Mandarin is required
