Our client is a leading FMCG business and the owner of a number of recognisable household brands. The company is based to the North-West of London, in the Home Counties, and the office is commutable from Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Middlesex.

Due to an upcoming departure from the legal team, my client seeks to recruit a circa 4 years' PQE In-house Commercial Solicitor with marketing/consumer law experience. The work will predominantly focus on commercial contract review, drafting and negotiation, as well as general legal advice and support to the brand, marketing, customer management and procurement teams. You will be involved in the concept launch and review of advertising and marketing campaigns, promotions and press releases, and will ensure compliance of marketing materials and communications with relevant codes, guidance and regulations. Alongside this, you will also have involvement with other business matters, such as the roll out of new policies, training and development, dispute resolution and HR/employment law advice.

To be considered for this position you should have circa four years qualified legal experience gained at a leading national or international law firm. You will ideally have in-house experience, gained at a comparable bluechip company, and you will have demonstrable experience dealing with commercial/IP and marketing matters.
