The successful hire will work as part of the In-House Legal Group that is responsible for advising the firm on all legal issues affecting the firm globally. The in-house team works closely with the Board, Senior Partners and the Executive management of the firm.
The opportunity available is broad ranging, working for the in-house team (internal facing, rather than client facing) and closely with various departments internally. The new hire will work with the procurement team on negotiating a range of UK and international contracts, dealing with Partner issues (leaving agreements, partner reports, consultancy agreements etc), Company Secretary responsibilities, in relation to working on Group Firm agreements, service agreements, and assisting with establishing offices in the UK and abroad.
The successful hire will likely to be a existing mainstream corporate lawyer, from a recognised practice, looking to move into a internal facing in-house legal counsel position. Additional experience in data protection, information security, employment law would be desirable. Ref: 21555
