Project Finance Lawyer, 6yrs+, 18 month contract - Switzerland

Our client is a company operating in the construction / energy sector. Their Head office is in the German speaking part of Switzerland.

They are now looking for a common law qualified lawyer with at least 6 years' experience in project finance to join on an 18 month contract basis to work on an exciting project. You will be reporting directly into the General Counsel and will be responsible for supporting and participating in the negotiations of the financial terms and conditions of different financing agreements and liaising between shareholders and financial institutions. You will also work closely together with the Head of Project Finance to coordinate lender due diligence teams and ensuring that deadlines can be met efficiently and effectively. There is possibility of the position becoming permanent at the end of the contract.

You will be a top level lawyer with at least 5 years' experience gained in a top level law firm or international in-house legal department. You have extensive work experience in project finance, particularly in the areas of large infrastructure projects. Prior experience in the energy and oil and gas sectors is advantageous. You will be a strong self-starter, very well organised with good leadership skills. You enjoy working in a very dynamic, rapidly changing and very international environment. You work well under pressure and tight deadlines. South East European experience is a plus.
