Restructuring Lawyer, 3+ PQE

This US independent research firm is looking for a Restructuring lawyer to join its London office as a Legal Analyst. You will have strong experience with large corporate restructurings in the U.K. and in various other European jurisdictions.

You will work closely with reporters and in-house financial experts to produce research, analysis and reporting on distressed debt and restructuring issues. This is a good opportunity for a mid-level or senior associate wishing to move into the distressed debt investing space. The opportunity offers a great package and good working hours.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Daily monitoring of distressed situations across industries.
• Working with a team of journalists and analysts on research notes and articles on stressed and distressed situations.
• Reporting on restructuring developments.
• Preparing long-form analysis of legal developments.
• Monitoring industry publications.
• Meetings with lawyers and investment professionals.
• Attendance at relevant court hearings in London.

You will have at least 3 years post-qualification experience at a top city law firm. You will have a self-starter work style and ability to interact with people from varied professional backgrounds.
