They have offices in York, Haxby, Easingwold, Thirsk and Pocklington and enjoy significant profile across North and East Yorkshire. They are well rated for their provision of private client services and this includes acting for High Net Worth individuals, 'old money' clients and those with agricultural interests and estates.

With a view to long term planning Harrowells wish to appoint a Solicitor at upwards of 7yrsPQE to specialise in estates administration, capital tax planning, trusts and succession issues.  Suitable candidates must come from a background where they have acted for High Net Worth clients and for families with agricultural and business interests.

This role can be based in either Thirsk or Easingwold and so most important is that they get someone who wishes to make a long term commitment to practising in this locality. You’ll be stepping into a busy market with work to do, and you can expect to be introduced to a wealth of contacts in the immediate community. Strong client skills and an enthusiasm to build relationships are key abilities which the firm is looking for so as to maintain and continue the client relationships they have built up over many years.

This represents an exciting opportunity for a lawyer who can work without immediate supervision on a daily basis and who is looking for the work and lifestyle choice that this opportunity represents. Remuneration will be competitive and long term prospects are good. Ideally the firm wants a candidate who will commit to the North Yorkshire area, but candidates who are not currently in the locality yet who have a demonstrable connection to the region and willingness to relocate are encouraged to apply.
