Funds Lawyer, 5+, In-house, Surrey

One of the leading global fund managers is seeking an experienced funds lawyer to join the legal team on a 12 month contract basis. The position will primarily support the UK Retail business - distribution and marketing of  their funds as well as third party funds distributed through platforms.  You will also support retail business initiatives and projects with legal advice and implement legislative changes.

The position requires significant experience in drafting and negotiating financial services agreements, specifically in funds and fund management, with an appreciation of the regulatory environment. Technical knowledge of EU/European mutual fund products is an advantage.
