Our Intellectual Property and Technology ("IPT") Group are looking for an Associate with 2 years plus Commercial/IT experience to join our team in Liverpool.

Our Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) Group is made up of the firms specialist IT, IP, telecommunications, media, and e business lawyers, as well as a discrete team of commercial lawyers.  The Group encompasses nearly 500 dedicated lawyers in more than 24 countries, with particular strength in key global markets and it is one of the largest and leading practices of its type in the UK.  The Group offers both contentious and non-contentious advice on major local and cross boarder projects and clients include major government departments, some of the world's leading technology and communications companies, national regulatory authorities, major financial institutions, owners of well-known international brands and patents, multinational media and entertainment companies, internet service providers, e-business enterprises and many more.

We are now looking to recruit a Commercial/IT lawyer to join our team in Liverpool.  The successful candidate will undertake a full range of commercial and/or technology related work including local, national, and international work, for private and public sector clients, in one of the premier commercial practices in the North West.  We do not set upper or lower limits of pqe for any of our vacancies.  We have however given an indicative pqe as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have 2 years plus relevant experience are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role. As well as considering candidates with general commercial experience, we would also welcome applications from candidates with specialist non-contentious IT experience.  The successful candidate will have an excellent academic profile and technical ability, is likely to already be working in a leading firm, and will be a strong team player.

Candidates applying direct may be given preference over agency applications.
