We are acting on behalf of a well-known UK travel Group who needs an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to join their team. The Commercial Legal Counsel will work closely with the Head of Legal and Company Secretary on a range of matters, it will be a varied and diverse caseload in a busy environment.
The Company has several subsidiaries so you will be working with different contacts on a daily basis and the instructions will vary day to day. The role will suit a lawyer who has previously acted in a general commercial role so they are able to pick up a range of agreements.
In order to be considered for this role you will need the following:
- Qualified Solicitor with 2 - 4 years PQE (the PQE is given as a guide and candidates with relevant experience outside of this are encourage to apply)
- Experience in-house, either through an existing or a secondment from Private Practice
- Ability to draft, negotiate and advise on a range of commercial agreements
- Sound knowledge of two or more of the following areas - Data Protection, Corporate M&A, Due Diligence, Employment, Commercial Property and Company Secretarial matters
The role is based in Central London and offers plenty of scope for progression. The existing Legal Counsel is looking for a bright and ambitious lawyer to work closely with who can instil trust and maintain strong relationships.
