The DLA Piper Real Estate Group is the world’s largest real estate practice with over 500 lawyers and according to Who’s Who Legal 2013 "DLA Piper once again emerges from our research as the strongest law firm in the world for real estate.” Our clients value our global resources, regional strength and local delivery, and include private and public companies, institutional investors and government entities.

Our UK practice offers a full range of services in areas including acquisitions and disposals, construction, financing, land use, planning and development, leasing, environmental law, insurance and tax. Our clients benefit from our significant experience in orchestrating complex, long-term projects that involve drafting documentation, facilitating negotiations, navigating legal and regulatory issues and, when necessary, litigating on their behalf.

We now wish to expand our transactional real estate practice by recruiting an additional Associate to our team in Leeds.  We do not set upper or lower limits of pqe for any of our vacancies. We have however given an indicative pqe as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have up to 5 years real estate experience are likely to have the right level of knowledge, and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role. You’ll have an excellent academic record and technical ability, but you’ll see yourself as so much more than a set of results. You’ll want to join a firm where lawyers are encouraged to take on as much responsibility as they can handle, and to develop their own business. You’ll want a firm where training and development are given the highest priority. An international firm, with deep roots in the local market, which can offer a level and variety of work you’ll find difficult to match anywhere in the UK.

Candidates applying direct may be given preference over agency applications.
