Fast growing US law firm is looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager to manage the firm’s Business Development, Marketing, Pitches, Branding and Events. Responsibilities will include developing and supporting annual marketing and business development plans, assisting with annual budgets to support group initiatives, providing support for seminars, sponsorships and other events taking place in the London office, preparing bios and announcements for new joiners, liaising with the PR team with regards to internal and external communications relating to lateral hires, updating and maintaining CRM-based data, developing league table/industry survey content for assigned departments, determining how to develop all of the practice areas in terms of expanding existing clients and/or developing existing clients, formulation from start to finish of a pitch presentation and delivery to winning new business. Additionally you will need to learn the branding, develop the branding and create a clear identity for the firm that will exist for now and will both position and sell the firm. A minimum six years marketing experience is required and candidates should have an undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, business or research. A secondary degree is also preferred. Candidates should have strong written and oral communication skills, be a team player and have the ability to work well independently, jointly and under pressure. A salary of up to £100,000 pro-rata is possible for this role. Standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, however a flexible attitude is required as there may be the possibility of overtime. This role exists as the firm is looking to hire a new permanent recruit, however in the interim an expert needs to be brought on board to get the ball rolling as the firm needs an experienced, proactive and high calibre individual to really initiate the firm’s concepts and ideas. Candidates will need to be able to start either immediately or at very short notice.
