IP & Trademark Locum to provide support and assistance to the Intellectual Property Manager and Global General Counsel with the day to day duties of managing the intellectual property portfolio across the globe.

Description

IP & Trademark Locum responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Work closely with external IP counsel on all matters concerning the management of the Dr. Martens intellectual property portfolio

Review all Daily Trademark Watch Notices and online investigation to identify applicant information

- Assist with wider IP projects

- Review IP software replacements including identifying and contacting potential suppliers, testing software and systems and establishing costings

- Daily Trademark Watch Notices

- Handling UDRP or other dispute resolution procedures

Profile

A desirable candidate for IP & Trademark Locum:

- Trademark/IP experience either In-House or Private Practice. Qualified ITMA Administrator or equivalent experience

- Experience of International trademark portfolio administration, IP litigation support and on-line brand enforcement

- Excellent administration and organisation skills. Experience in processing and preparing documents, handling very detailed information, working on a large number of projects at any one time and proven project management skills.
