In-house U.S. Patent Attorney

Our client is a global player operating in the life sciences industry. They are now seeking to recruit an outstanding U.S. Patent Attorney to join their Patent and Design Rights team in Switzerland.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks with respect to intellectual property matters. In particular you will deal with patentability assessments, e.g. drafting, filing and prosecuting patent and design applications and support re-examinations, Post-Grant Reviews, Inter Partes Reviews and opposition proceedings. Furthermore you will advise the business in all intellectual property matters.

You are U.S. registered Patent Attorney with an advanced degree in electronics, engineering, physics or any related field and have acquired at least three years' work experience in patent preparation, prosecution and patent searching. You have an excellent knowledge of international patent laws and a good understanding of IP needs from a business perspective. You are fluent in English, German language skills are advantageous.
