Are you a physics or electrical/electronic engineering graduate who is struggling to decide on your next career move?

Interested in fusing your scientific or engineering knowledge with a new legal skill-set? Ever considered a position as a trainee patent attorney?

Patent attorneys are involved with cutting edge innovation and advise on the protection of ntellectual property rights within specific areas of science or engineering. Despite being members of the legal profession, patent attorneys, without exception, have scientific or engineering academic backgrounds rather than law degrees.

We are working on behalf of a very well respected East Midlands based Patent & Trade Mark firm that is seeking to hire a bright and ambitious physics or electrical engineering graduate to commence the process of qualifying as a Chartered & European Patent Attorney.

A physics or engineering related academic background is essential in order to apply for this position so we, unfortunately, cannot consider applications from law graduates. Due to high academic requirements for this position, you will need to hold at least an upper second class degree and A, A, B grades. at A Level (A grades in Physics and Maths are preferred).
