Senior Lawyer Switzerland - Regional Legal Department

Our client is a globally operating pharmaceutical company located in Basel, Switzerland. They are currently seeking to recruit an outstanding Senior Lawyer Switzerland (m/f) - Regional Legal Department.

You will be part of an influential legal and compliance team with a direct working relationship with senior management. You will support the business in Switzerland and other emerging markets such as Asia Pacific, LatAm, Middle East and Africa regions. This position will advise on all legal and compliance matters such as commercial transactions, IP matters and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts relating to supply, manufacturing, distribution and licensing. You will furthermore work collaboratively with the Regional Office team in Europe and Singapore and external counsel.

You are a Swiss qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post qualification experience, acquired in an international pharmaceutical company and have a broad understanding of contract and pharmaceutical law. You are able to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast paced environment and have a problem-solving attitude and a high sense of priorities and urgency. Fluency in English is required, other language skills might be advantageous.
