The role
Our client's activity focuses on the development of a portfolio of mines across Western Africa and is looking to recruit a bilingual (English/French) to work on a project in Burkina Faso. He/she will help determine the Human Resources strategy, will be in contact with local labour inspectors, and will ensure conformity with the applicable labour laws. Responsibilities will also involve providing more generalist legal advice on the overall project ranging from commercial agreements (including the provision of service) offshore and onshore, and other issues such as financing. The contract will begin in November 2016 and will end in December 2017. The successful candidate may have the possibility of working on other projects for the group after this period.
The contract will enable the incumbent to return home (or to another destination) every 6 weeks, for a duration of 2 weeks.
Profile sought
You will have between 2 - 7 years' professional experience and demonstrate excellent organisational skills, resilience, and are able to communicate with ease and conviction. You have a fluent level in French and good IT skills (especially Word and Excel). Previous experience in HR would be a plus, but is not vital to succeed in this position.
