Law Costs Draftsman / Costs Lawyer - 5yrs+ experience - South Manchester
Are you an experienced law costs draftsman with over 5 years experience of drafting bills of costs within civil litigation looking to join a well established law costs practice based in south Manchester?
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled law costs specialist to be a part of well-established, reputable costs practice.
Your role as law costs draftsman will be to manage a case load of predominantly civil inter partes work consequently they must possess a sound knowledge of CPR and experience in the preparation of costs budgets.
You will have a proven track record, demonstrating excellent technical ability and a desire to produce top quality work along with outstanding customer service skills.
The ideal candidate for this position with have demonstrable experience of independently managing a busy caseload and proven negotiating skills. ACL membership is desirable (not essential).
Advocacy experience would be a distinct advantage although not essential.
Those who can bring with them new business or who are willing to be involved in new business development will be at a distinct advantage. Similarly those with experience of CostsMaster will hold an advantage.
The salary offered is negotiable depending on experience.
