A global professional services firm is currently looking to recruit an EMEA, Commercial General Counsel for a newly created position to be based in London.
Reporting to the Global General Counsel you will be involved in leading, planning strategically, and developing appropriate legal support in the EMEA business, in coordination with and overseen by the organisation's Global General Counsel and EMEA Area Counsel. You will also be responsible for drafting and participating in commercial contract negotiations with clients and service providers and actively liaising with local GC teams across the globe.
This position requires a qualified lawyer with at least 15 years' PQE and an excellent international background with a sound knowledge and understanding of the financial services sector. You will also need significant contractual negotiation experience with domestic and international clients, and a very strong ability to build and coordinate internal legal teams.
