Contentious Construction Associate (5+ PQE)

A market leading multi-national law firm are seeking a contentious construction associate at the 5+ PQE level to undertake a thrilling position within a well respected construction team.

The team is headed by a Partner that possesses a dynamic client base across the construction world. This is the perfect chance for an associate with a genuine passion for general construction and disputes to amalgamate the two within the legal sphere. The team is well-known for its ability in adjudication and has the intention to solidify its expertise within a number of key hubs and regions. It is therefore imperative for this role that the successful candidate has strong experience in adjudication procedure - including both the ability to conduct adjudications and draft adjudicatory pleadings.

The team deals covers a wide array of construction work within a range of sectors and a variety of clients, including, contractors, developers, operators, insurers, re-insurers, energy, owners and consultants, both domestic and international. The successful candidate will possess a strong academic record, wide ranging commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills, as well as be a team player.
