This global custodian bank are looking for a lawyer to join the legal team and work with their EMEA Corporate Trust business.
This role will see you advising on complex transactional and advisory matters across the EMEA region, supporting various lines of businesses including straight debt, CLOs/CDOs, Repacks, ABS/MBS, Custody, Project Finance and Structured Finance. You will be required to negotiate a range of documents, provide advice in relation to transaction restructurings and contentious matters, instruct and manage external counsel, advise on regulatory issues and be involved in bank-wide projects. This role provides exposure to a very broad range of products as well as a range of legal issues.
You will have trained at a top City firm and have gained a minimum of 2 years' PQE with debt and debt-related transactions. Restructuring and work-out experience with debt transactions is highly advantageous, as is experience in representing trustees, collateral administrators and custodians. Ideally you will come from a structured finance or debt capital markets background.
