Leading international law firm based in the city of London is looking for a capable and organised HR Assistant to assist the HR Manager.

Permanent, full-time, paying up to £30,000 dependent on experience.

A good step up opportunity for a capable HR Administrator/Assistant who is keen to work for a top law firm.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Recruitment

  • Coordinating interview schedules with partner diaries: scheduling and rescheduling, following up with agencies, booking rooms and circulating CVs
  • Assisting with basic contract amendments/drafting - offer letters & other hiring docs
  • Following up on conflicts checks and admin related to screening checks
  • Assisting with visa application documentation and liaison with immigration lawyers
  • Scheduling orientation programme and training for new hires on arrival

Trainees

Assisting with scheduling of training courses (internal and external)

Training

  • Inputting data into CE Manager
  • Monitoring CPD hours
  • Booking training sessions in diaries and room and catering facilities

Performance reviews

Following with partners re completion of relevant stages and helping to access/input into review system

Onboarding/HR

  • Scanning and labelling new hire documentation
  • Making up employee files
  • Assembling new hire welcome/induction packs

Other

  • Processing expense claims (for interims, paralegals, new hires and general recruitment expenses)
  • Cross checking timesheet entries against recruitment agency invoicing for interims
  • General support for overflow matters where needed
