Global pharmaceutical company now seeks a Senior legal counsel (or legal counsel) to support their established EMEA legal team.
The role requires a commercial lawyer to work on a broad range of matters specifically drafting and negotiating key commercial agreements including those related to sales, marketing and clinical research and trials, business development (including licensing) and being responsible as a product counsel including the promotion, launch and expansion into new markets. The role will also support on wider issues covering compliance and contentious matters and will be responsible for instructing and managing outside counsel and supervising other members of the team.
You will be a qualified in-house or private practice lawyer with a broad commercial experience, ideally with existing healthcare experience (but candidates with experience from similar or other sectors will also be considered). You will also be a strong communicator and have the ability to work across all levels of a matrixed organisation.
