Legal Counsel - Pharmaceuticals - London or Cambridge

Leading international specialist pharmaceutical company now has an exciting opportunity for a legal counsel to join the organisation during an exciting period of further growth and expansion.

Reporting to the Head of Legal the role will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the business on a broad variety of legal matters and transactions, including commercial contracts (i.e. major distribution, outsourcing and procurement agreements); collaboration and licensing arrangements; marketing/communications materials; product documentation; corporate transactions (e.g. M&A support); dispute resolution and or litigation and compliance/privacy policies and strategy. You will also act as a business partner by applying combined business and legal judgment to proposed deals, relationships, and other issues requiring legal attention, strategic commercial legal advice, and support of key initiatives

You will be a Graduate and a solicitor or barrister with experience of working with a respected law firm and or with a similar organisation (either on a permanent basis or through a secondment). You will also have strong general commercial experience and ideally some direct healthcare/life sciences exposure but all suitable candidates will be considered. You will also be a self starter and excellent communicator able to work across all levels of a matrixed and fast moving organisation.
