Contract Role - Commercial Lawyer - Major Business - West Yorks

Our client is a major MNC widely respected as an industry leader and excellent employer. Their legal team is fully integrated within a highly commercial environment, supporting international company projects. 

This is an interim position between 6-12 months. Some home working is possible. Potential for further extension exists. 

The team is seeking to make an interim appointment to their legal function. The successful candidate will be a talented, ambitious lawyer with a solid grounding in commercial negotiation and contracts. You must be commercially astute, possess in-house experience and be able to hit the ground running -contributing from day one. You must be competent in full-cycle contract delivery and able to manage internal and external client relationships effectively. The remit will also encompass numerous other matters including dispute resolution, corporate, employment and competition issues.

For consideration you must be able to demonstrate a sound track record of the above within an in-house team. The ability to work with a minimum of supervision is essential, providing commercial legal advice to the business whilst limiting risk.
