Senior Residential Conveyancer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join a team of residential property specialists at a rapidly expanding, modern, forward-thinking law firm.

The Role  

• To manage a team of 4-5 people
• To liaise with clients regularly to update them as to the progress of their matter and the associated costs,
• To respond in an appropriate manner to client instructions, To deal with incoming post efficiently,
• To participate in Training sessions regularly including providing the sessions where appropriate,
• To participate in the business of the firm in such a manner so as to develop your own knowledge and skills,
• To lead on the growth of the business, office systems and the organisation of the Department. 
• Carry out file tasks and progress files
• Assist the team as requested
• Review work undertaken by Case Administrators
• Assist with delivering training to Junior case handlers
• Other tasks as from time to time delegated by the Directors 

The Person

• Technically proficient on Sales and Purchases, Leasehold and Freehold.
• Aware of the importance of customer service
• Experienced at managing your own volume caseload
• Experienced in a managing a team
• Need to be an expert in describing the conveyancing process
• Flexible in your methods and thinking, 
• A solution seeker, Resourceful, Able to support your clients and communicate with them without legalese, 
• Driven and motivated to achieve business objectives.
