Legal Counsel Temp

An International film and media distribution company overflowing with passion and vibrancy from its employees into the work they do on a daily basis within their market is hiring. They seek an experienced commercial lawyer for a General Counsel role within this small but expanding business. With such enthusiasm for their products and customers this company has expanded massively and is now seeking an experienced lawyer to join their team and bring the legal function of this successful business to the same level of quality and enthusiasm running throughout the rest of the business.

Initially for a 3 month FTC with the aim to become permanent, this London based opportunity will be reporting directly to the CFO of the company, with the potential to grow a team beneath them.

Covering a breadth of media focused In-House work, the right candidate will have experience in broad general commercial and corporate matters and PQE of ideally around 10 years.

Areas of this role will include...
* Drafting and negotiating contracts and vendor agreements
* Supporting the licensing division and digital departments with overseas websites and digital media
* Advising on compliance and regulatory issues
* Assisting with corporate matters including fundraising and debt finance
* Acting as the main point of contact for external counsel
* Day to day legal assistance for employment, admin and finance etc.
