In-House Corporate Counsel

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Lawyer to join the In-House team of a major banking institution at their London offices.

Reporting straight into the Head of Corporate, you will be a key member of the corporate team and provide core business support and advice for all corporate advisory matters including: strategic M&A and internal restructuring transactions for all business areas, corporate legal advice, corporate governance advice and regulatory advice.

You will be responsible for providing a high quality business service and provide innovative and credible solutions (e.g. financial, strategic and risk management) directly to senior management and their business areas.

You will ideally be a qualified lawyer with a broad knowledge of all aspects of corporate legal; either within a reputable city firm or from a similar In-House Financial Services background. The ideal candidate will also have between 3-5 years PQE* and possess a thorough understanding of Financial Services as a whole; its drivers, challenges and market practices. You will also be able to communicate authoritatively and influence senior management.
