Head of Legal

My client is a rapidly expanding business currently looking to appoint a Head of Legal and Company Secretary. Reporting to the CFO the role will have responsibility to head up the legal team and ultimately shape the provision of legal services to the business, as well as set up and maintain governance frameworks and compliance processes.

The role has a wide generalist remit and will need to balance the demands of being a 'hands on' lawyer with the needs of providing outstanding strategic direction.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE working in a city or major regional law firm or in a commercial organisation. Experience of the UK utilities industry is highly desirable.
With an ability to work in a consultative manner you must also be a skilled communicator and influencer with a strong delivery-focused approach, capable of interacting with the business at all levels.
