Legal Counsel

Our client a globally recognised brand is seeking a Legal Counsel for a 6 month contract with the possibility of being extended or even becoming permanent.

Reporting to the General Counsel based in London you will provide commercially focused legal advice to the business in the areas of contracts, IP, data protection, travel law and general corporate and commercial law, with emphasis on the APMEA region.

You will work very closely with all areas of the business including sourcing, sales, operations, procurement and administrative functions (e.g. finance, HR and treasury).

Key activities:
*Providing legal advice and support to management and staff on a wide range of company and commercial legal issues
*Drafting and negotiating agreements with supplier and clients
*Revising precedent documents
*Managing litigation disputes
*Advising on marketing and promotional activities
*Advising on regulatory and compliance issues and managing projects
*Instructing and managing external legal counsel in the APMEA region

The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE*. In house experience is essential. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability t work under pressure.
