SENIOR COURT OF PROTECTION SOLICITOR
An impressive national firm who are recognised as experts in their fields in both the legal 500 and the chamber guide are looking to expand their Court of Protection practice. Having an exceptional reputation for providing quality advice and representation they have a loyal and growing client base that they provide advice to in relation to a range of Court of Protection Welfare matters.
You will manage your own caseload of files which will include section 16 MCA cases concerning residence, care, contact, sexual relations and medical treatment issues and section 21A MCA appeals challenging deprivations of liberty. You will work with clients who have lost capacity as well as clients with mental health issues. Additionally you will be required to manage a team of fee earners where you will contribute towards their training and development.
In order to be considered for this position, you will;
- Have in depth knowledge of Health and Welfare matters.
- Have previous experience of supervising a team of fee earners.
- Have the ability to build good working relationships with the team and clients.
