The role
A need has arisen for an experienced pharmaceutical lawyer to sit within the Madrid offices and support the affiliates for the Spanish and Portuguese businesses. Sitting on the respective management teams, you will be required to advise on issues including promotion, advertising and medical communication, market access and reimbursement, regulatory and healthcare compliance matters, data privacy and supply chain. The successful candidate will participate in Farmaindustria working groups and identify and monitor the regulations that have relevance to the
Business. Beyond local support, you will also work with in collaboration with other members of the international legal team.
Profile sought
Ideally you will have a minimum of 8 years PQE and it is essential to have significant experience working within the pharmaceutical industry, including applying legislation and regulations in Europe and adapting and interpreting these for the Spanish market. You are accustomed to advising the business in a solution-oriented way whilst remaining a strong communicator for the legal function, and a facilitator of team work across the business. You will be fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese being a plus).
