A Residential Conveyancer is required for a permanent opportunity with a well regarded high street practice in Hertfordshire.
Applications are welcomed from anyone with a minimum of 5 years conveyancing experience, regardless of qualification.
You will be responsible for carrying out conveyancing transactions to include sales and purchases, re-mortgages and buy to let, both freehold and leasehold.
The ideal candidate will be able to carry out the following:
Drafting transfers - part and whole - including indemnity clauses
Familiar with searches and highlighting issues to raise with the client, the lender and third parties
Able to carry out OS1’s and Bankruptcy searches
Familiar and able to carry out land registration applications, both unregistered and registered titles and able to use the Land Registry portal
Confident in reading through contract paperwork and able to raise relevant enquiries with the other side
Ability to confidently and clearly communicate, in writing, over the telephone and face to face with clients, estate agents, banks and other third parties
You will be familiar with anti-money laundering regulations and when to identify mortgage fraud
