Position: Tax & Trusts Executive
Salary: c.£30,000 - £35,000
Location: Bury St Edmunds
We are currently recruiting for a Tax & Trusts Executive working within a private client team for a highly regarded law firm in Bury St Edmunds.
To play an integral part of the Tax and Trust team. To provide high level tax advice and computations, for both personal and trust matters.
STEP membership an advantage but not essential
ATT/CIOT qualification or other tax qualification an advantage
Experience in trust and personal taxation, to include IHT, CGT and Income Tax and their relevance to Trusts and their administration.
Completion of Personal Tax returns
Completion of and assisting colleagues with income tax and capital gains tax compliance and completion of the deceased's lifetime tax to the date of death and during the administration of Estates.
Providing advice and assisting clients with the queries referred by the other teams
Administration of Trusts (various including Life interest, Discretionary, Charitable)
Preparation of IHT 100 forms for Relevant Property Trusts
Timely completion of trust tax returns and dealing with HMRC
Other matters concerned with Personal Taxation, Administration of Trusts and Taxation of Trusts (full details of which are available on request)
